Hotel Cenit & Apts Sol Y Viento - Ibiza Town

The room was nicely renovated and clean.

The building structure is old and poorly maintained. The shower pipe had an unpleasant smell, and the bathroom fittings need an upgrade. We were disappointed by the lack of a welcome bottle of water, crucial after a long journey.

The hotel is on top of the hill in Figueretas, on the border of Eivisa town and near the Figueretas boulevard. Beautiful views on the bay from the pool area and from some of the rooms and studios. The building is, although not modern, well maintained. The hotel being gay friendly is an understatement. The vast majority of the clientele is gay which is giving the place a special atmosphere.

I stayed in a studio which has, according to the shield on the building, 1 "key" and the comfort level is accordingly. The hotel is 2 stars. The studio is roomy but pretty basic. No airco, no tv (but you can rent one), no fan (but you can rent one) and for the people in a hotelroom: you can rent a fridge to keep your drinks cold. The studio did have a fridge by the way. The room does not have a safe, you can rent one in the reception area. This safe is only just large enough for a 13" MacBook. Did I mention that being on top of the hill means that you have to climb a lot of stairs to get back to the hotel?

Great hill top location between Ibiza town and Figueretas, both within easy walking distance. Rooms are simple but spacious, many with fantastic sea views. The pool area overlooking Figueretas, Playa den Bossa and beyond is really nice. The perfect place to stay if you're gay as, although it's not strictly a gay hotel, it attracts a lot of gay visitors.

Wifi speed is slow and wifi only available in the reception area / foyer. This really should be improved and extended to the pool area or ideally throughout the whole hotel complex. Parking nearby can be a bit tricky as the hotel car park isn't big enough for all guests.

Pool area was spacious and relaxing.

Bright accommodation with competent and caring staff members in the reception desk. Ideal location in a very nice area just off Figueretas, both the beach at Figueretas and old town harbour and the '' garden ''. Again, not far from Parc de la Pau.

great location but needs improvements

The location is fantastic! Just a 15-minute walk to the historic walled city. The pool area is beautifully designed. I appreciated the friend's recommendations about nearby beaches, particularly the fine sea views from there.

The check-in process felt a bit chaotic.

Hotel was great affordable and modern, we really enjoyed this place.

the room was good-sized with amazing views, internet, for example, the check-in was easy. a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a fridge were an advantage.

Breakfast Was Very Basic and Every Day The Same

The view from the balcony of the room was breathtaking, making mornings particularly enjoyable. I loved the spaciousness of the studio, which provided a comfortable environment, and the vibrant atmosphere near the pool added to the overall charm of my stay. The breakfast service was a highlight, as it offered a great selection to kickstart the day. I encountered some issues with the shower and plumbing, which slightly impacted my experience.

It was just a well-suited match for a stopover in Ibiza Town with high value for money. The pool bar staff were lovely and made the experience enjoyable despite the prices. Be prepared for steep stairs throughout the hotel when coming back from a night out.

The venue was in a central location very close to the shopping place, the old town and beach, and Figueretas, Old Town and Port. Had essentials needed in the standard studio, including a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a fridge.
